

If you turn off safe browsing, the vdx files will automatically download to your computer and you won't have the option to discard them, though. If you don't want to see the warnings, you can go to Chrome settings -> Privacy and security -> Security and turn off " Safe browsing," and then turn it back on once you're finished importing your documents. You can safely ignore these warning and you don't need to click "discard" or even "allow" in order for the import to work.

If you see a pop-up about multiple downloads, click "Allow". If you're using Chrome, you may get a warning about a VDX file download at the bottom of your browser bar. You'll see a progress bar showing you SmartDraw importing each file. When you're ready, click Import Selected Files. Once SmartDraw has retrieved your files, select the ones you want to import using the check boxes next to the document names and folders or click Select All to import all your documents and folders. Now that the extension is installed, you'll just be prompted to select the files you want to import. Go back to SmartDraw, and click on Lucidchart File again under Import.
